What sparked your interest in books and how did you develop a love for them? What are the advantages and disadvantages of being an avid reader?

To talk about the advantages of reading books

The scholastic book fairs used to have all sorta books and idk the brochures of them made me want to buy books as a kid.

But as I grew up,and started watching booktubers (I am talking about booktubers and not booktoks :) )

Why do most people care so much about what others think? Are they afraid of society norms?

I won't lie but it was not the passion for books at the start when I started reading,I started reading when I started buying books from scholastic book fairs at my school as a kid,my principal used to always talk about books, that also added up.

• It helps you live through an experience.

I started buying books, that I thought I would find relatable.I really have not felt closer to people and was always hesitant to speak about things to people upto certain age, and only then I realised what it truly meant when they said “There is no good friend than a book".

These books helped me kill time, gain perspectives about things, and also were there letting me know that I was not the only one in many aspects.

• You tend to have more understanding about certain aspects of people as you start reading different povs of different authors.

And that is how I fell in love with books.

Were Dalits prohibited from drinking water from wells in ancient times? Is there any evidence to support this claim?

I think there can be no disadvantages of gaining experiences right??

(But the cost of these books 😔)

Now that's an interesting question, cause no one has asked me this.

To a flat Earther, what's wrong with the idea that gravity is simply a force inherent to space which operates only in one dimension? Why do they go further and try to deny gravity rather than just saying it's different than physicists claim?
